5 POINT ELASTIC BREASTPLATE
Our 5-point elastic breastplate offers the most stability of any equestrian breastplate on the market. If you are looking for a breastplate that will ensure the security of your saddle without sacrificing your horse's freedom of movement, this is the breastplate for you. Includes a set of martingale rings that, when used correctly, provide consistent downward pressure on the reins for strong horses that travel with a high-head carriage into fences.
With 5 points of attachment, this breastplate will keep any saddle stable. The attachments to the top of the saddle can be removed, and the leg/girth strap is removable. This allows you to use this breastplate as a full 5-point breastplate, 4-point, 3-point, all the way down to a simple and secure 2-point breastplate.
The double elastic sides are fully adjustable and can be moved up and down to suit your horse’s shoulder shape. The shape of the V allows the angle of the breastplate to be pitched along the shape of the horse’s shoulder, giving the horse maximum shoulder freedom without compromising stability.
The girth strap is completely removable and is padded at the top to reduce friction. The strap comes with a clip for easy attachment to the girth. It can be removed for added safety if you prefer to run cross-country without a clip. This breastplate also offers many grip points for an unseated rider.
The shoulder and chest pads are padded with our unique gel, perfect for evenly distributing pressure and soft enough for even the most sensitive skin. The shoulder pads are removable and can be replaced with sheepskin for extra softness. Sheepskin pads can be purchased separately.
This item is available in your choice of Black Leather with Black and Silver Elastic or Havana Leather with Brown and Cream Elastic.
