This snaffle pressure relief crownpiece is shaped to create a clean, anatomical line that allows the bridle to sit behind the TMJ, one of the most sensitive areas of the horse’s head. By avoiding direct pressure on this point, the design supports greater comfort, relaxation, and acceptance of the contact.
The cut-back ear design provides additional clearance at the poll, while the finer 4/8” cheek straps create a refined, elegant look. This slimmer profile makes it particularly well-suited to horses with more petite heads and ponies, without compromising strength or stability.
